Frozen Tuna Cubes
Happy Sunday everyone! I am a little sad that the weekend is over and tomorrow is Monday, but I guess I will just have to deal! Anyways, I heard this week it is supposed to heat up again, and we will get one last wave of summer! I cannot wait; I love the hot weather!
But my baby Maria is jet black and she gets so hot and uncomfortable in the heat. I found a really cool idea on this website, for her. Frozen Tuna cubes! They are such a yummy treat, and they totally cool her off on a hot day and she perks right up! I know that I normally share human recipes, but I am sure a lot of you have dogs and you want them to have healthy and delicious food too! So here is my recipe for a nutritious and yummy dog treat!
Ingredients:
- Plain Yogurt (water will work too if you do not have yogurt)
- Canned Tuna, drained (keep the drained water to use in place of the yogurt if you are making this for a dog who is lactose intolerant)
Instructions:
Get an empty ice cube tray and fill each slot about half way with plain yogurt. Place a couple of chunks of tuna in each slot and freeze. Wait a couple of hours and you will have a cool and tasty dog treat!
** My parent’s dog Emma is lactose intolerant, so I used only water instead of yogurt for her treats. They came out just as good and she LOVED them! So, please let me know if any of you try this out! I hope your babies will enjoy it too!!

Very nice post Sarah! The babies should get treats just like us humans!
