    Potato Latkes

Hi Everyone!  I recently started watching the Amazon show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.  If you haven’t seen it, you really should.  Season two just came out, and it is hilarous!  Anyway, the main characters are Jewish, and they are always eating amazingly delicious Jewish food at a New York deli.  For some reason this and the fact that it is the holiday season made me CRAVE latkes.  So I decided to come up with a recipe and make my own version.  I think they came out quite well!  Enjoy!

    Traditional British Breakfast

Happy Father’s Day!!!  I would like to wish all fathers a Happy Father’s Day today, especially my Dad!!!  Dad, I am so glad and thankful that you are my father… you really are the best dad a girl could have!! Thank you for all you do!! :-) This morning for Father’s Day we made my dad a Traditional British Breakfast, which I wanted to share with you.  My little sister Laura studied abroad in London last summer and came back and made this for us and we all loved it!  It consists of British breakfast beans, “poached” eggs, baked tomatoes, stewed mushrooms, and bacon.  We also served some Arabic biscuits…

    Shepherd’s Pie

Hello Everyone!!!  I hope you are all keeping warm in this cold weather that just seems to keep sticking around… Hopefully spring will come soon… Today I am going to write about a comforting recipe that will warm you right up on these cold evenings.  Shepherd’s Pie! This is a traditional Irish dish that I thought would was appropriate seeing as St. Patrick’s Day is this Sunday.  So it took me awhile to think of a recipe that I wanted to feature for St. Patrick’s Day.  I noticed that a lot of blogs were doing various desserts using Irish Cream, or corned beef, but I just wasn’t too excited…
