Chocolate Chia Pudding
Hi Everyone! Things have just been super crazy busy for me lately! I don’t know what it is, but things just do NOT want to happen easily for me this week! When I have tons of craziness during the day, I crave chocolate. But…. I don’t really want to blow my diet, or eat anything unhealthy. I am guessing that some of you can probably relate to this dilemma. Well, if you do relate to this, I have a solution! Chocolate Chia Pudding!
This is a super healthy, chocolatey, and yummy recipe! It gives me my chocolate fix, and honestly there really is nothing unhealthy about it! So I do not feel guilty AT ALL for eating it! The icing on the cake for this recipe is that it is a cinch to make! Perfect when you are super crazy busy, like I am this week!
In addition to being a delicious snack or dessert, it also can be eaten as a nutritious breakfast. Chia seeds are full of omega-3s that will help keep you feeling full all morning. Raw cacao is very energizing, which will help to wake you up. And really, what is better than chocolate for breakfast!?!
Okay, I am done rambling on… here is the recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 Tbsp Agave Nectar
- 1 small splash of vanilla
Instructions:
Whisk all of the ingredients together in a bowl until they are well combined. Let this mixture sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or overnight. Take it out and give it a stir and it is ready to eat! That’s it!

This is the best chocolate chia pudding recipe I’ve found!!! It is perfect. Only difference is I used Hersey’s cocoa powder because that’s what I had. It works just fine. Plus I get my chia seeds from Native Sun in bulk–much cheaper. Oh, and I had sweetened almond milk. YUM!

Thank you Debbie! I am so glad you liked it!!! Good to know that it also tastes good with Hershey’s! Thanks! :-)

This is so good and satisfies that chocolate craving. I add two shots of Bailey’s Irish Cream or Chambord (reduce almond milk by two ounces) and skip the agave…it’s de-lish! You could add your fave liqueur (GM, peppermint schnapps etc) for your own grown-up version.

Hi! I am so happy you like it! Your adult version sounds really good too! I will have to give it a try! :-)
