Hi Everyone!  I am so excited because this weekend I am flying to Hilton Head Island for a vacation and to visit my little sister!  Soooo excited to lay on the beach and soak up some sun and warm weather!!!  Since it is still winter here and the snow does not want to leave I thought of a way to share some of the island paradise with you all.  Today I am sharing my recipe for pineapple upside down cake.  What screams tropical more than pineapple!?!?!  Anyways, I hope this recipe brings you all some warmth, and that you enjoy!!! Shepherd’s Pie

Hello Everyone!!!  I hope you are all keeping warm in this cold weather that just seems to keep sticking around… Hopefully spring will come soon… Today I am going to write about a comforting recipe that will warm you right up on these cold evenings.  Shepherd’s Pie! This is a traditional Irish dish that I thought would was appropriate seeing as St. Patrick’s Day is this Sunday.  So it took me awhile to think of a recipe that I wanted to feature for St. Patrick’s Day.  I noticed that a lot of blogs were doing various desserts using Irish Cream, or corned beef, but I just wasn’t too excited…

    Blueberry Nut Baked Oatmeal

Hi Everyone!  I know that spring is on it’s way (and I cant wait!), but the snow is still here… On a cold morning I like to have a warm and comforting breakfast, like oatmeal! Today I am going to share with you my recipe for blueberry nut baked oatmeal.  This really is a treat for me to have for breakfast, as I normally stick with cereal and yogurt for breakfast, or a protein smoothie.  One recipe makes six servings, so for me this lasts about a week.  I also would imagine that this would freeze well if you wanted to store these for an easy breakfast later on.  This…

    Sarah’s Tiramisu

My sister is moving to South Carolina for a couple of months and I am going to miss her so much! :-( For a going away present I decided to make her Tiramisu, which is her favorite dessert.  This is a luscious Italian dessert, made from eggs, marscapone cheese, and lady fingers.  This dessert is sooo decadent and rich and delicious; I just know that you all will love it!  It also really isn’t even that hard to make, and doesn’t require any baking…  The only downside is…. its really not healthy.  But, we all have to splurge occasionally right?!?!  RIGHT!?!?!  But anyways… here is the recipe! Tiramisu Ingredients: 1/2…

    Spicy Orange Beef

So as many of you probably know, I started Weight Watchers last summer and have lost about 31lbs!  I still have a little ways to go; but the program really works!  The recipe that I am going to blog about tonight is adapted from their new cookbook Turn Up the Flavor.  I have to say that so far I have enjoyed the cookbook, and the recipes I have tried all have been good.  One recipe that turned out really well is Spicy Orange Beef (Spicy Tangerine Beef in the cookbook), and it is only 4WWPP!!  I made some slight modifications and paired it with some jasmine rice for a fabulous…
