    I don’t know about you all, but I love avocados!  One of my favorite snacks or appetizers is guacamole, and it is really easy to make!  Many of the pre-made versions you can buy in the store actually do not contain very much avocado, and may contain additives and preservatives that I do NOT want in my food.  For this reason I like to make my own guacamole and enjoy the fresh taste and health benefits of real avocados.  I know that it is slightly more work, but I am sure once you try it you will not want to go back!  I hope you all enjoy this recipe!     Open a Pomegranate

    Since pomegranates are still in season it is a really great time to enjoy them!  This time of year most grocery stores carry them and they are easy to find.  I suspect that a lot of people don’t know how to open pomegranates and eat them easily, so they either avoid them because they are inconvenient to eat, or pay top dollar for arils (the pomegranate seeds) that are already removed.  I don’t know about you guys, but I used to be one of these people!!     Healthier “Chicken Wing” Fingers

    So chicken wings are very yummy, and there are all kinds of chicken wing recipes, but hardly any of them seem to be very healthy.  My dad likes to have chicken wings and he also really like chicken fingers.  This is a recipe that I made for him for the Super Bowl.  I hope you all enjoy!
