Apple Crisp For Two!
Hi Everyone! As much as I love summer, I finally decided that it is time to embrace fall. So today I have a really sweet recipe for you, Apple Crisp For Two! This dessert is totally yummy, so easy to make, and only makes two servings! You could even make just a single serving if you wanted just by dividing all of the ingredients in half! I made it for my boyfriend Phil and I to eat during a football game and it was a big hit! We both really enjoyed it, and we weren’t tempted to eat a huge amount because it was only two servings! No leftovers! If you are looking for an easy fallish recipe, then this is it! Here is the recipe!
Ingredients:
Filling:
- 3 small apples, peeled and diced into small pieces
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- dash of ginger
- dash of cloves
Crust:
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1/8 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/8 cup uncooked oatmeal
- 1/2 tsp coconut palm sugar
- dash of vanilla
- dash of salt
- dash of cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine all of the filling ingredients and mix until they are well combined. Divide the mixture between two small ramekins. Now we will work on the crust. Melt the butter in a small bowl. Stir in the remaining crust ingredients until you form a crumbly dough. Divide the dough between the two ramekins and press on top of the apples. Bake for about 30 minutes, until the mixture is bubbling. I recommend putting a cookie sheet under the ramekins because otherwise they will bubble over and make a mess of your oven! Let them cook for about 15 minutes and enjoy!
Serves 2, WW P+: 5 per serving
